The pandemic brought about by COVID-19 has pushed families to spend almost all of their time at home, with all family members intact, especially the children.

While some parents have returned to working in their respective offices, there are still a number who continue to work from home. On the other hand, students have only one choice that is to stay put since classes are being held online.

For some, this set-up may not be a problem at all. But there are those who may find it more challenging to adjust to working and taking care of the education needs of their children at the same time.  Consequently, this create some tension and stress between parents and children which may negatively impact relationships and even one's emotional and mental wellbeing.

This concern takes centerstage in the upcoming webinar of Children’s Paradise Montessori School (CPMS).

Dubbed as “BRINGING OUT THE BEST IN YOUR CHILDREN: Creating Beautiful Boundaries,” the webinar is scheduled on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. Philippine time via Zoom.

Coach AizaCaparas-Tabayoyong, a Parenting and Relationship Coach of the Love Institute, a Co-Active Life Coach of Strengths Guide, and a graduate of RMT-Center for Family Ministries (RMT-CEFAM) will be the resource speaker for the webinar.

“Coach Aiza will provide us a practical framework on how we can create beautiful boundaries in relationships, particularly with our children, while working from home during this pandemic.  Our intention is to empower and equip parents to become life coaches to their children through a series of webinars,” said CPMS President Marivic Bathan.

Setting boundaries is a coaching skill which fosters respect, honesty, communication, independence, and interdependence resulting to healthy and functional relationships.

The upcoming webinar is part of a series of webinars staged by CPMS named Family Life Enrichment Program (FLEP).  To register and join, call 422-3446, 0917-6324026, or 0998-5795992 or visit the Children's Paradise Montessori School FB Page.
