“A lot of us can’t still travel so we are bringing the best products, tourist spots and offerings from the different towns of Cebu to the mall,” says Robinsons Land Corporation Group Marketing Communications Manager Joanna Fajardo-Salazar.

Fajardo-Salazar is talking about the latest edition of R’Cebu featuring the different towns in Cebu’s Fifth District. From now until April 25, city residents can enjoy the famous delicacies, agricultural produce, handicrafts, souvenir and practical items from the towns of Borbon, Sogod, Catmon, Carmen, Compostela, Liloan, San Francisco, Poro, Tudela, Pilar, and the City of Danao at Robinsons Galleria Cebu Atrium.

R’Cebu is Robinsons Galleria Cebu’s initiative exhorting support for local products. It is being supported by the Cebu Provincial Government. 

Some of the local delicacies and products featured are Queseo, cheese made from fresh carabao milk; Tuba, (coconut wine); Banig, mats made of “soli-soli” grass; Nigo, flat woven basket made of bamboo; Budbud Kabog, Bingka Kabog, Kabog Grains, and Butter Kabog Cookies; Camotestiks (Sweet Potato Breadsticks), Baked Camote Polvoron, Masi, Rosquillos, Kasahos, Cassava Cookies, Sinamay, plant holders made of rattan, and eco-friendly products made of bamboo.

More towns will be featured in the next run of R’ Cebu on May 21-23, and June 25-27 at Robinsons Galleria Cebu.
