Bingka or bibingka is a popular Filipino rice cake often made of glutinous rice. However, the locals of Asturias create theirs with a special form of millet abundant in the area - the dawa. Dawa is a form of foxtail millet that is also often utilized by farmers as feeds for farm animals. It's a really interesting treat that is ubiquitous in the streets and public markets of Asturias.
