September being the sacred month for fashionistas ended with a bang in the Queen City of the South. From the fabulous fashion shows and exhibits reveled by Cebu's top designers, a brand new place befitting every bride opened its doors last month.
Charles Edward Bridals and Events, Cebu's first one-stop-shop for weddings and other special events, held its grand launching last September 28, 2022.
Brimming with magnificence, Charles Edward prepared two events to celebrate the occasion - a formal ribbon cutting held at its flagship boutique in Banilad, followed by an evening soiree and press presentation at Jimie Hall, Waterfront Hotel and Casino.
Present during its ribbon cutting ceremony are master designer Philip Rodriguez, beauty queen Bee Urgello, members of the Designer Circle of Cebu, and the brand's friends from the media. AD top model Erik Lennatt Visser hosted the spectacle in the evening.

THE FUTURE OF BRIDAL WEAR
Charles Edward Bridals and Events is a brainchild of Ms. Fiona Lideza, a former beauty queen, CEO, mother, and a visionary. Conceptualized and founded by a woman who epitomizes a chic and modern female boss, the brand doesn't fall short on what it can offer.
In her speech, Fiona shared how she envisions her brand to exist and serve its clients across the Philippine archipelago.
"Our vision for Charles Edward Bridals and Events is to go nationwide in three to five years," Fiona said."Along with this, we will be expanding and evolving into the first tech company that services the fashion and events space," she added.
Fiona also disclosed that Charles Edward is the precursor of a marketplace app that the Lideza Group of Companies is developing in partnership with her and her partner's company, Staff Virtual.
The app will be the first of its kind in the Philippines. It will allow all creatives to market their services. Through it, potential clients will be able to book their desired services such as makeup artistry, photography, and event designing.
Jaco Construction and Architect Rey Mark Cañizares Bonethag, prepared Charles Edward's showroom to its luxe and classic appeal.
Erik Lennart Visser, Sette Melecio, Sofia Caryl Rizon Cababat, Rafael, Pia, Crystal Padilla Shemyagin, Joachim Sivertsen, and Larz Kent Dawson, modeled some of the bridal pieces available at Charles Edward.
