Fans of action, drama, and suspense will be thrilled with "Iron Heart," a television series starring Richard Gutierrez, playing the lead character. The action drama series will premiere tonight, November 14, 2022 on Kapamilya Channel's Primetime Bida evening block, A2Z, TV5, and worldwide via The Filipino Channel. The exciting series is directed by Lester Pimentel Ong and Richard Ibasco Arellano.
"Iron Heart" follows the story of Apollo Adelantar played by Gutierrez. Apollo will be Gutierrez' biggest role as a Kapamilya star.
Apollo is a regular boy until he discovers his superhuman strength leading him to work for a clandestine operation. Along his missions, he will meet allies, love interests, and enemies.
ABS-CBN and Star Creatives' newest production stars some of the biggest names in Philippine television, including Sue Ramirez as Venus, Jake Cuenca as Eros, Albert Martinez, Sofia Andres as Nyx, and Pepe Herrara. The cast joined the Cebuano press and content creators in a press conference held at Chateau de Busay, Cebu City, last Saturday November 12, 2022.
"Iron Heart" is primarily shot in some of the most picturesque spots in Cebu. Gutierrez, whose roots are from Cebu, describe the Queen City of the South as the ideal backdrop of the show. The lead actor praised Cebu's unique offerings, from its metropolitan scene down to its iconic landscapes. "Now is the time to feature Cebu's unique beauty in a teleserye," Gutierrez shared to the Cebuano press.
Actress Maja Salvador is set to appear in the series in a special role.
Apart from the heart of Cebu City, some of the places from the Cebu province featured in the series are Argao, Dalaguete, and Carcar.
"Iron Heart" will also be aired on iWantTFC, TFC (The Filipino Channel), and ABS-CBN Entertainment YouTube channel for limited periods.
